The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Irishman of the Year is the organization's highest honor. It is annually bestowed upon a deserving member of the Irish community who has demonstrated a selfless dedication to the advancement of the Irish heritage. Gentlemen are reviewed on their merits, accomplishments in preserving the Irish culture and traditions, as well as their efforts in benevolent endeavors. Candidates need not be Friendly Sons of St. Patrick members. The quality of their character and their dedication shown in their contribution to the local community are chief factors in their selection. The Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick are proud to award this accolade to the Irishman whose commendable works and deeds are truly worthy of tribute.
