The Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick of Central Iowa have established a scholarship award for two senior cross country or track athletes (one girl and one boy) who will be graduating from Des Moines metro area high schools. We will again be awarding these scholarships in 2012. Each $500 award is funded by the efforts of the organization to raise money through a variety of community events, including our annual St. Patrick's 5K and 10K runs. The awards will be presented at the event on March 25, 2012. Applications must be postmarked by March 7, 2012.
